I'm home!

I'm finally home for thanksgiving break! I'm so thankful for my family and food. <3 glad I'm home! 

My laptop broke. Again.

I guess it's my fault I spilled water on it.

Ok. It is my fault.

Now, they have to repair my laptop. 

It may take a while.

:(

The cypher

At my school there is a tunnel called the free expression tunnel, the only place on campus where you're free to do whatever graffiti you want all over the tunnel. Every monday at midnight (tuesday morning i guess) in the free expression tunnel there is a rap battle. "The cypher". Basically what happens is a bunch of people stand out in the cold and rap and listen and well... thats it.

So i was watching a movie with my friend Dj. And i texted my friend Dria (from my laptop and this is how our conversation went)

So i started to put shoes on, and Dj said "where are you going?"... But Dria was already at my door. It was like we could read each other's minds. We were going to the cypher. So when we were at the cypher this girl pulled out a hula hoop and lit it on fire she danced and spun and the flames flew around her. It was pretty cool to watch... but mostly we tried to pay attention to the rapping. Once the cypher got boring we went back to our dorm. That's where I am now.

Adventures...

On monday's my schedule is light. From 9:10 to 10:00 I have class but after I usually go to lunch (or technically brunch) with my best friend Megan. Today, I went back to my room before lunch with Megan with another friend. We talked for a while and listened to music until his phone died and he needed to borrow my charger. When I gave him my charger he tried to plug it into the wall instead of plugging it into the surge protector and "surged" the power. :( Apparently he saw a spark and the power went out. I called my dorms "hotline" and they came to fix it. Immediately after my power was back on, Megan was in my room and we were on our way to lunch! I'm debating on whether to tell my roommate. I probably will. But I guess that's enough adventure for one day.

Tearing apart my text messages:

I use a lot of slang... and a lot of random and incomplete thoughts in my text messages but people still seem to understand what im saying. here are some examples.

Today's schedule.

So today I woke up around 12 and got lunch with my friend Andria. We came back and watched the tv show "the originals". She went to rearrange her room and I hopped in my bed to work on my paper... But I ended up watching Hulu for hours and procrastinating, so I got a page done. But then at 8:00 I washed my hair and straightened it. At 9:30 I washed my hair and straightened it, went to get food with Darian and Andria, and played cards In their room with Brandon. My paper isn't done. But I'm satisfied with my day.

Three Hours of Laundry

Today I spent 3 hours doing my laundry.

Let me start by saying that at my school, our laundry is payed for in our tuition. So, when the machine to swipe our campus card breaks, all of the students in my dorm are forced to find quarters in random places on campus.

The machine has been broken for 2 weeks.

I tried so hard to wait until the machine was fixed and I thought it would be fixed by today. 

It wasn't.

So my adventure began when I carried 2 weeks of laundry down 3 flights of stairs to the laundry room. As soon as I got down there my friend, who was doing her laundry, asked if I had quarters because the machine was broken. 

I didn't.

So, she gave told me to take cash and go to bragaw hall and get quarters from the C-store.

Of course I didn't have cash. So I had to call my nana to transfer some money into my account so that i could take out some cash.

I walked all the way to bragaw (approx. 5 minutes) and spent about 5 minutes trying to swipe my card in the ATM there so that I could take out cash, so that I could get quarters and do my laundry.

Unfortunately that was broken, so I had to walk ALL the way to the book store (to the ATM) and ALL the way back from the book store to Bragaw (about 15-20 minutes) so that i could go to the c-store, get quarters, and go do my laundry.

Well once I FINALLY had my laundry in the washing machine, turned them on, and put my quarters in, the card machine started working.

I think my laundry situation calls for an FML.
